RS PRO Stainless Steel Cable Gland Locknut, M25 Thread


Use this RS PRO cable gland locknut to join lengths of conduit together in harsh environments. Composed of high grade 316 stainless steel, this RS PRO conduit locknut is classified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) under European standard EN50086 for corrosion resistance. This means it can be used in a range of demanding conditions, including offshore environments.

The product complies with the BS EN 60529:1992, IEC 529:1989 (protection for electrical equipment enclosures). It's commonly used in settings where high-pressure washdowns are likely.

The locknut includes ISO conduit threads that conform to the BS4568 thread standard at both ends, so it works with commonly used fittings, conduits and adaptors. You'll find it used in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Its aesthetically pleasing finish also makes it a popular choice in architectural applications.
