To achieve a long-lasting hold, simply strip your wire and then push into the metal ferrule. Once it's inside, manually crimp the metal with a crimping tool, such as the multifunction Stripax Plus model (452-473). The resulting bond is gas and moisture-tight, so there's no need to worry about corrosion dampening its performance. This component is designed for use with wires up to 0.5mm² in size, so it's a sure fit for smaller connections.
