RS PRO Spherical Bearing


This spherical bearing from RS PRO can be installed within a bearing housing, or in situ (on a shaft, for example). It can then be locked using the set screw. Made from stainless steel, the bearing is durable and rust-resistant. It has an external diameter of 52 millimetres and an internal diameter of 25 millimetres. It's static load rated up to 710 kgf (kilogram-force), while its dynamic load rating is 1,100 kgf. It weighs 200 gms.

The rod end is part of the stringently tested RS PRO series of quality products. It also meets the standards ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 for safe electrostatic discharge. Spherical bearings such as these are commonly used in a wide range of applications where there's a need to change the axis of rotation, for example in drive shafts, heavy machinery and robotics.
