RS PRO Single Non-Return Valve, Brass, 2 Inch BSPP


This non-return valve from RS PRO stops fluids or gases in a pipeline from flowing in the reverse direction. By preventing backflow, it stops contamination of water or damage to equipment, which could have potentially serious consequences. You'll find valves like these used in almost every plumbing or pipeline system.

The simple and robust component requires no human intervention to operate, so you don't need to worry about adjusting levers. It's built to withstand stress and vibration – common occurrences in plumbing systems. The valve is made from brass for a long working life with little chance of it rusting.

This valve is fitted with an inspection cap, making it easy to check on the valve's working function. It has a maximum working pressure of 16 bar. Reverse flow valves are frequently used in gas lifts to stop fluid from mixing and allow for the circulation of pressure.
