Kestrel 3500 Pocket Weather Meter


From Kestrel, the Kestrel 3500 series rotating vane weather meter designed for measuring wind speed, temperature, wind chill, humidity, heat index, dew point, barometric pressure and altitude. The advanced meter provides accurate readings without compromising on functionality and performance. With fully sealed electronics, the robust anemometer even floats if accidently dropped into water. Constructed from impact resistant and corrosion proof materials, the Kestrel 3500 anemometer is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, engineers and even the emergency services.

The Kestrel 3500 weather meter is a pocket sized rotating vane anemometer with built-in temperature, humidity and barometric pressure sensors. It utilises high precision Zytel° bearings and a lightweight rotating impeller to deliver precise air flow measurement. Even at low speeds. In addition the built-in temperature sensor is able to quickly determine a constant temperature reading for the externally mounted thermistor.

Operating the advanced meter is simple, the 3 buttons on the front of the instrument allow you to scroll through each of the functions and select the parameter required. To make navigation even easier a prompt indicating the function flashes on the screen. All measurement results are clearly depicted on the liquid crystal display, even in low light levels, thanks to the backlight function. To help conserve battery life, an auto switch off function automatically turns off the instrument, 45 minutes after the last key press.
