pH Probes

pH probes are devices used to measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance. This is called the pH level. The construction of a pH probe typically consists of an pH electrode, a temperature sensor and a housing. pH measurement is important as it provides the user with a readout of the chemical conditions of a solution.

pH probes are rod or pen-shaped devices which are placed into the solution. They are used alongside pH Meters which convert the reading into a visual output. Some pH probes offer additional functionality, such as temperature reading and automatic calibration.

Types of pH probe

pH probes are available in a variety of different configurations that meet a range of different needs. Types of probe include:

Glass probes
PEI (Polyetherimide) probes
Titanium probes
PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) probes

ph probes are also available with different types of electrodes such as Conductivity, Oxidation Reduction Potential and pH as well as a variety of temperature measurement ranges.

Applications of pH probes.

pH probes help provide a measurement of acid and alkaline levels in solutions and its electrical potential. pH probes have a wide range of use in applications such as:
