Use this wall box from Schneider Electric to keep your industrial equipment safe. Its compact dimensions of 400 (H) x 400 (W) x 200mm (D) mean it's a discreet choice for bust workplaces. As it comes with a tough galvanised steel mounting plate, you'll find it easy to install and suitable for demanding environments. For added safety, it comes with earthing studs that let you attach an earth connection to deflect static discharge. The door is reversible so you can adapt it to your work setup. A robust polyurethane (PUR) door seal prevents contamination from dirt.

It is suitable for potentially explosive atmospheres and complies with various stringent standards such as EN 60079. The enclosure features a steel body with epoxy-polyester powder finish in grey (RAL 7035), along with a double-bar lock for security.

How do I mount the gland plate in this wall box?


You should mount the gland plate by screwing it to the bottom of the enclosure. Its grid pattern lets you organise the cables to prevent tangling and for easy identification.
