Designed to supply electricity efficiently between two circuits, this variac transformer from RS PRO has a rugged enclosed construction and is built to last. It's virtually maintenance-free and suitable for surface, floor or wall mounting using the screw terminals provided.

A silver-plated commutator gives a smooth linear output to this transformer that's free from waveform distortion. It also has in-built overload protection. The product offers good regulation, with a continuously variable AC output voltage and an overvoltage tap. A low operating torque and low magnetising current enable highly efficient operation.

This model is part of RS PRO's series of professional 'Varivolt' transformers that come in a variety of current ratings and in both single and three-phase versions.
