This threaded standoff is a simple solution to raise and securely lock PCBs (printed circuit boards) above a surface. Acting as an insulating guard between components to prevent electrical shorts, the standoff performs the function of a spacer in electronic components.

The standoff comes in male-female configuration with M3 threading on both sides. The male-side bolt is 8 mm long. The female body is 6 mm in height and width and has a hexagonal outer shape for easy fixing using a standard spanner. Made from durable nylon, it's flame-retardant and offers good resistance to common cleaning chemicals.

From our very own RS PRO brand, this threaded standoff is rigorously tested by our engineers to ensure quality and consistency. In compliance with ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards, the product is handled and packaged in controlled facilities that prevent damage due to electrostatic discharge.
