RS PRO 3.3 kVA Intermittent 5 Mins on 15 Mins off Site Transformer, 230V ac Primary, 110 (55V Secondary, 2 x 16A O/P

These safety transformers from the RS PRO range are designed to ensure risk-free electrical distribution. They can step down voltage from 230 V ac to 100 V ac (UK mains voltage) for safe use with power tools.

There are thermal-magnetic trip units inside the transformer, so when an overcurrent condition is sensed, trip units automatically open a circuit breaker, reducing the risk of overload. All of this comes in a painted steel case that’s IP22 rated. This means the transformers are protected from objects larger than 12 mm and water spray from an angle of fewer than 15 degrees. The case also has flanges for wall mounting.

As they're RoHS certified, no hazardous substances are present in excess of 0.1%. They also conform to the European standards for safety transformers and are well-suited for use in both industrial and domestic settings.
