Light click mikroBUS™


The Click accessory modules plug into the mikroBUS™ sockets in MikroElektronika microcontroller development boards. The Light Click™ accessory board has an on board PIN photodiode that allows you to measure ambient light intensity. The board features an analogue to digital controller with SPI interface along with a voltage reference. The Light click board can have either a 3.3 V or 5 V power supply via the SMD jumper. Applications include high-speed photo detection, game machines and copiers.

Communication is through the mikroBUS™ SPI (MISO, SCK, CS) and AN lines
PIN photodiode: PD15-22CTR8 PIN photodiode (high photosensitive light sensor with fast response time)
Voltage reference: MAX6106 and ADC: MCP3201 (offers SPI communication)
Supported in MikroElektronika compilers
mikroBUS™ is a specially designed pinout standard with SPI, I2C, Analogue, UART, Interrupt, PWM, Reset and power supply pins
