RS PRO Self-Centring Metric Kit Nitrile, Kit Contents 125 Pieces

Get a secure seal every time with this self-centring metric-bonded washer kit from RS PRO. The special self-centring feature of these seals uses a thin membrane with an internal diameter equal to the core diameter of the locating thread. They slip easily onto the thread and offer low resistance to help with assembly.

The washer kit includes 125 bonded seals in metric sizes from M8 to M24. The nitrile rubber seals offer resistance to a wide range of oils and chemicals. They're bonded through heat and pressure to zinc-plated mild steel, which will resist corrosion and can handle high pressures.

Bonded seals are used to provide a seal around a screw or bolt. The metal washer contains the seal, with this structure increasing resistance to bursting. The self-contained nature of the seal can also simplify the task of assembling a system with sealed elements.
