RS PRO 50 Ω Straight BNC RF Terminator, Through Hole, 0 → 0.5 GHz, 2 W Average Power Rating
Avoid frustrating video ghosting with the RS PRO RF terminator. Designed to prevent radio frequency (RF) signals from being reflected, the component fits to the end of radio transmission lines to help stop frequency distortion and power loss.
This BNC (Bayonet Neill–Concelman) terminator is a miniature component used with coaxial cable and it's quick to connect and disconnect. The part has an average power rating of 2 W, has a maximum operating frequency of 0.5 GHz and an impedance of 50 Ω. The male-female connector has a silver-plated body with gold-plated contacts and it's a through-hole mounting type.
Straight plug terminators, such as this one, are suitable for a variety of applications including video signalling and test equipment. They're designed to match the surge impedance of the cable to help minimise reflection and ambiguous digital signals that impact on the system's operation.
