The Omron inductive proximity sensor has stainless steel housing and 20 mm thread length. It has 4 mm sensing distance and NO operation mode. This non flush mounting type sensor takes only 10 seconds to replace a proximity sensor with the "e-jig" (mounting sleeve). Connection method for this sensor is connector M8 - 3 pin.
