RS PRO 50Ω Straight Cable Mount TNC Connector, Plug, RG58
This male TNC coaxial connector from our RS PRO range is a miniature radio-frequency (RF) connector that's used for joining RG58 coaxial cables together. When paired with its corresponding female receptacle, this straight cable mount connector creates stable transmission lines that are perfect for conveying data.
Used in a wide range of radio and wired applications, this connector performs particularly well at microwave frequencies (e.g. with portable radios and mobile phone antennas). It's finished with high-quality gold contact plating that protects against corrosion.
TNC connectors have a similar design to BNCs, but with a threaded screw-fit mechanism rather than a bayonet. Crafted with weatherproof materials, its secure screw-fit mechanism protects against vibration and external electromagnetic interference. For proper termination, the coaxial connector should be crimped onto the cable with a crimping tool.
