RS PRO Crimp Die Set, Terminal
Use this crimp die set with the RS PRO Hydraulic Hand Crimping Tool (445-885) to crimp aluminium and copper cables of up to 50 mm² in cross-sectional area. The dies are simple to use as they don't require a power supply thanks to the hydraulic action used to generate the necessary force for crimping.
The dies comply with US (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and European (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards, so you can rest assured that they won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. They're ideal for crimping heavy-duty cable terminals onto stranded and flexible wires in applications such as telecom systems, utility services and panel building.
