RS PRO Plastic Round End Cap, Type 2 Strut Profile

These round tube end-cap plugs from the RS PRO range are commonly used to finish DIY structures and metal furniture and are essential components for our RS PRO handrail systems.

For durability, they're made from hardwearing plastic that's also lightweight. They protect struts and tubes from contamination and dust, especially during shipping and long-term storage and are suitable for tubes with a 42.4 mm diameter, as well as Type 2 strut profiles. A series of externally tapered ribs ensure a tight fit inside tubing to cap it off.

Part of the RS PRO series, the product has been tried and tested to ensure its quality. For universality and ease of use in the field, the plugs conform to BS 1387 dimensional standards, making them interchangeable with a variety of profile types in multi-component systems.
