RS PRO Cast Iron Base Flange, 48mm Type 3

This base flange from RS PRO is made from cast iron and designed to be paired with round tubes. Together with uprights, it helps secure handrails and guarding.

Two pre-drilled holes make connecting the base rail flange easy, while its cast-iron material ensures a sturdy and safe foundation. You can use base flanges such as these wherever you need structural support for upright round poles. They flange fits Type 3 round tubes and can be secured with two hex key grub screws.

This component meets British Standards 1387 for the dimensions and weights of steel tubes. It's also suitable for constructing safety fencing and to secure handrails in the workplace.
