Looking to make your own cable connector leads, then consider the RS PRO 4 mm female banana socket. This cable socket is the ideal solution for making test leads to your specification. Upon inspection, the socket connector offers a fully shrouded body, resilient plastic and nickel plated brass contact. Compatible with cables with a 4 mm dia. and is suitable for any standard 4 mm shrouded or non-shrouded banana plugs.

There are many variations of banana socket connectors so it’s important to have a variety of cable leads of various lengths especially if you frequently use multi-meters, voltage meters or other forms of testing equipment.
