Kinetis L Cortex-M0+ Freedom Board

The NXP Freedom-KL25Z is a development board based on the Kinetus L Series (KL1x/KL2x) microcontrollers. It is designed for rapid microcontroller development and offers the ability to add expansion boards.

What are Kinetis L Series MCUs?
The Kinetis L series of microcontrollers are based on the Arm Cortex-M0+ processor core. They are ultra-low power MCUs which feature USB 2.0 OTG (On-The-Go) and are ideal for applications requiring connectivity.
This particular board houses the MKL25Z128VLK4 MCU. It has a processor speed of 48MHz with 128KB of flash memory and 16KB SRAM memory.

Which Operating Systems does the FRDM-KL25Z use?
The FRDM-KL25Z can be used with the Kinetis Software Development Kit (SDK). It is also compatible with Arm Mbed OS and Zephyr OS.
