CY3215A-DK In-Circuit Emulation Lite Development Kit, Cypress

The PSoC Development Kit is an In-Circuit Emulator (ICE) that provides debugging functionality for the 8-bit Programmable System-On Chip PSoC 1 families with the PSoC Designer or PSoC Programmer software. The ICE manages all the emulation communication between the debugger software running on the computer (PSoC Designer) and the target PSoC chip. The ICE-Cube base unit is connected to the host computer via the USB port.
The ICE is driven by the Debugger subsystem of PSoC Designer software. This software interface allows the user to run, halt, and single step the processor. It also allows the user to set complex event points. Event points can start and stop the trace memory on the ICE, and break the program execution.
The ICE-Cube also serves as a single-site device programmer via an ISSP (In-System Serial Programming) Cable.
