Olflex Heat 260° Cable
From Lapp, the Olflex Heat 260 C MC cable is a heat-resistant solution for power and control applications where fluctuating temperatures would render conventional cables unusable.
This cable is also shielded, featuring copper screening that ensures EMC compliance even under extreme loads. Coupled with its stress crack resistance, these factors make the Olflex Heat 260 C MC range of cables ideal for use in sensor system applications.
The cable is made of fine-twisted nickle-plated copper strands, with a PTFE core insulation. It also has a PTFE based outer sheath that is flame retardant.
Despite its robustness, the Olflex Heat cable is lightweight with a small diameter, which makes it convenient for fixed or occasional flexing installations where space-saving is a factor.
Features and Benefits
Copper-screened for EMC Compliance
Space saving design
Stress crack resistant
Resistant to contact with mostly all highly aggressive chemical media
Low outgassing behavior
UV resistant and suitable for outdoor use
Oil, acid, and chemical resistance
Low water absorption
Resistant to microbes
Applications
Olflex Heat high-temperature cable is used in a variety of applications, and it's EMC shielding ensures it can be used for purposes where interference from electromagnetic signals is a concern. With its resistance to temperature and media, this cable range is also ideal for harsh environments and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
