High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)


Used in mechanical/electrical/general engineering, transport/conveyor technology, household appliances, food and general clean industries. Typical applications include chemical apparatus, plugs, seals, food processing, insulators, and low load rollers.

Polyethylene is self-lubricating, has good chemical, abrasion and impact resistance and is easy to machine. It is unaffected by most acids, alkalis and chlorinated hydrocarbons.

Note

Polyethylene has poor resistance to hot water, and exposure to UV light will result in gradual decomposition
