Samtec ERF5 0.5 mm High-Speed SMT Board-to-Board Socket Connectors


ERF5 0.5 mm high-speed board-to-board sockets with a performance of 28 Gbit/s. These ERF5 0.5 mm SMT high-speed BTB socket connectors feature ruggedized Edge Rate contacts with a high contact wipe designed for high speed, high cycle applications. These Edge Rate contacts have a smooth milled surface to reduce contact wear which increases durability and life cycle. This milled surface also lowers insertion and withdrawal forces allowing the connectors to be zippered when unmating. The Edge Rate contacts also reduce broadside coupling and crosstalk and offer high signal integrity and electrical performance.

These ERF5 0.5 mm high-speed socket connectors can be combined with the ERM5 series 0.5 mm high-speed SMT board-to-board headers to create mating heights from 7 mm to 12 mm.
