The unit has a double-pole, double-throw configuration, which means that it can control two circuits in two or three positions (ON-ON or ON-OFF-ON). Its silver-nickel contacts are conductive and have low electrical resistance, so they deliver a reliable connection. As the relay is sensitive to phase and voltage faults and has a swift response time of 500ms, it can trigger a response before the fault damages your circuit.

This status of this monitoring relay is indicated by the two LEDs on the front of the unit. The yellow LED gives you the status of the output relays, while the red LED displays fault messages.
