RS PRO Monitoring Relay – Phase Failure Relay, 380 V ac


The RS PRO phase failure relay, also known as a phase protection relay, prevents three-phase motor failure due to line or motor overheating. This relay protects devices with sensitive operating voltages from line voltage failures. It's important to note that phase failure relays do not provide direct protection. Instead, they detect abnormalities such as excessive voltage, low voltage, inverse phase order, or phase drop, and then send a signal to the circuit breaker components. This helps ensure the motor operates efficiently and reduces the risk of electrocution or fire. This product is used with a three-phase system, without neutral.
