RS PRO Magnifier, 10X x Magnification, 14mm Diameter

The RS PRO surface contact magnifier is a portable, lightweight and compact folding magnifier. It has a 14 mm lens and rests on the item being magnified, leaving your hands free to perform other functions such as marking, making repairs or soldering.

The body of this magnifier unfolds to form a free-standing unit that you can position at the correct distance for perfect focus. The 10x optical magnification makes small details easily visible. The base has millimetre and inch scales on opposite sides of the viewing area that serve as accurate reference points when inspecting or marking items or materials. It's available in a chrome-plated or black anodised finish, and it folds up compactly to fit inside the supplied soft case that protects the lens.

Typical applications where you would use this magnifier include viewing print and sewing, making small repairs and inspecting objects such as coins, jewellery or stamps.
