The ENDRESS+HAUSER switching unit for point level detection in liquid tanks, suitable for use in hazardous explosion areas. It is also ideal for overfill prevention in tanks with combustible or non-combustible liquids harmful to water. With its two-point control and point level detection capabilities, this product is perfect for applications in safety-related systems with requirements for functional safety up to SIL2 according to IEC 61508/IEC 61511. The switching unit features a NAMUR input for rail mounting or single installation and has an ambient temperature range of -20 to +50°C (-4 to +122°F). It also has international explosion protection certificates and overfill prevention WHG as well as marine approvals.
