These clips enable you to test a four-terminal connection by performing four-terminal or four-wire sensing. This technique uses separate pairs of current-carrying and voltage-sensing electrodes, allowing you to make more accurate measurements than you could with the simpler and more generally used two-terminal (2T) sensing.
These Kelvin clips have longer wires to make sure you can use them to test larger or unusually shaped components with fixtures that are difficult to reach.
