Thanks to their durable polypropylene (PP) construction, the bottles are corrosion and chemical-resistant. This material can also withstand high temperatures, making it safe to sterilise the bottles at temperatures of up to +121°C in an autoclave. As they're translucent, you can easily identify and inspect the contents of the bottles.
A moulded SPI (Society of the Plastics Industry) recycling code on each bottle allows recyclers to easily identify the type of plastic material. These types of bottles are commonly used for a range of applications in laboratory settings.
