As it only works with a key, this component is suitable for applications in need of protection from unauthorised users. Thanks to the latching actuation style, it remains active even after you release it, so there's no need to keep holding it in place. To remove the key, simply turn the device to the left position then pull it out. The black housing features a contrasting white position indicator so you can identify its operating status at a glance.
