The Phoenix Contact is a string combiner box (SCB) designed for photovoltaic systems up to 1, 000 V DC. It allows the connection of 1 string and provides surge protection (type 1/2) and SUNCLIX DC connectors for the input and output side. The SCB is ideal for both small rooftop systems and large ground-mounted systems. Its main functions include surge protection, string collection, and local equipotential bonding.
