The Altivar Process Variable Speed Drive offers your business optimisation, real-time intelligence and provides the efficiency that you deserve. The Altivar Process Drive gives you extensive flexibility in water, wastewater, mining, minerals, metals as well as oil, gas, food and beverages. This series of Variable Frequency Drives is the perfect solution to help you improve your machines effectiveness across a variety of applications. Altivar ATV630 VFD (Variable Frequency drive) Series has an IP21 rating and can been wall mounted. It has a three phase synchronous and asynchronous motor which makes it the optimum choice across many businesses.

What is the Stop & Go function on the Altivar Process Drive?
This special feature gives a huge reduction on the energy that is consumed with the motor is on standby mode and the power supply of the drive is switched on. This function can save you up to 60% on energy use. When the Stop & Go function is in action the machine will switch off the power section (rectifier, DC-Bus), the fans and backlight of the graphic keyboard. This energy saving mode is automatically switched on when the machine is not in use or running, this is known through the communication network and can be adjustable through the parameter.
What else is supplied with this Inverter Drive?
This Inverter Drive is also supplied with a Graphic Display Terminal which can be connected and mounted on the front of your inverter. You could also connect and mount on an enclosure door using remote mounting accessories. The display terminal can be connected to a PC to exchange files via a Mini USB|USB connection as well as giving you connection to several drives in the multidrop mode. Please refer to the datasheet for more information regarding the feature.

This Altivar Process ATV600 variable speed drive can feed 3-phase synchronous and asynchronous power motors. It features 3 built-in RJ45 communication ports as standard, 1 Ethernet port, 2 serial ports. It works at a rated supply voltage from 380V to 480V AC. This drive provides up to 30% energy saving when on standby due to the innovative ‘‘Stop and Go’’operation without additional costs. It is suitable for motors with power rating up to 3kW for applications requiring slight overload (up to 120%). It is suitable for motors with power rating up to 2.2kW / 3hp for applications requiring significant overload (up to 150%). It weighs 4.6kg and its dimensions are, 144mm wide, 350mm high, 203mm deep. This drive is focused on fluids management processing and energy saving, it offers extensive flexibility in water and wastewater, mining, minerals and metals, oil and gas and food and beverage applications. Accessories (fan kit, graphic display terminal) and options (I/O expansion modules, communication modules, EMC input filters) are available with Altivar Process ATV600 drives, depending on the drive rating. It is designed to be mounted in vertical position (+/- 10 °) on a wall. This new concept of drives meets the major needs of process and utilities in terms of equipment efficiency and total cost of ownership by supporting the energy management, asset management and also the overall performance of the process.
