- The Magelis operator dialogue terminals communicate with automation system equipment via a serial link or by means of integration into an Ethernet TCP/IP architecture
- Schneider Electric Magelis series feature terminals that have an integrated RS 232 or RS 422/485 asynchronous serial link on-board
- To offer ease of use with PLC's, the use of the Uni-TE Modbus protocol makes it easy to set up communication
- Displays test messages, graphic objects and synoptic views as well as control and configuration of data
- Has an ingress protection rating of IP65, this means that the HMI display is fully protected against dust and ingress of any other particles. This protection rating also means that the display is protected against low-pressure jets from any angle
- The interface and structure have been created and designed with customers best interest in mind, they offer high-performance visualisation applications at machine-level
- These multi-touch, cost-effective HMI displays are a great solution for operator control and monitoring

- Magelis GTO Advanced Panels feature optimized information and communication technologies, which, depending on the model, include a high level of communication (embedded Ethernet, multilink, Web server and FTP, e-mail), external storage of data (SD memory card and USB memory stick) for storing production data and backing up applications and management of peripherals: printers, bar code readers, etc
