RS PRO Silicone Heater Mat, 138 W, 240 V ac

This silicone heater mat from the RS PRO range provides fast, accurate and even temperatures for a wide range of surface heating applications.

Silicone has low thermal conductivity, so it retains its structural properties over a wide range of temperatures. It also has low thermal mass, making it very responsive to temperature control. This means these mats are a great choice for most temperature regulation purposes.

Designed for use in smaller spaces, this cylindrical-shaped mat encases etched foil elements between two sheets of silicone. These foil elements heat up rapidly and accurately, giving this product a marked advantage over bulkier heating devices without sacrificing performance.

The mat is self-adhesive, so you can install it securely without any equipment or tape. With a heating range peaking at +200°C, this mat is suitable for use as laboratory equipment, anti-condensation heating or for glass fibre-reinforced plastic (GRP) pipe repairs.
