RS PRO Gauge Block Set Alloy Steel Metric, 11 piece
Each gauge block in this 11-piece set from RS PRO is made from high-quality, age-hardened alloy steel. The blocks come in a range of sizes and can be used to calibrate micrometres and calipers up to 250 mm.
The individual gauge block sizes included in this set will check the accuracy of a micrometre spindle and measuring faces in five different rotational positions between 0 mm and 25 mm. This ensures the precision of both the screw and parallelism of the contact faces. A calibration certificate from UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) guarantees the quality of the components. The gauge blocks in this set have been heat-treated to improve wear resistance.
Supplied in a wooden box, which has a dedicated, identifiable space for each block, this gauge block set is used to measure to micron-level accuracy and to calibrate other extremely precise measuring tools.
