Aim-TTi Digital Function Generator

The Aim-TTi 16MHz digital function generator is the latest innovation with two channels for waveform generation. Each channel can operate as a full DDS function generator. This architecture avoids the clock jitter associated with DDS arbitrary generators and permits waveform linking, looping and sequencing. It has the ability to generate high-quality sine, cosine, haversine, havercosine, and square waves, available between 1mHz and 16MHz. It can store up to 100 user-defined waveforms within the instrument’s non-volatile memory.

Features and Benefits

Up to 40MS/s sampling frequency
64k point horizontal resolution
256k point non-volatile waveform memory
True variable clock architecture is used with clock speeds between 0.1Hz and 40MHz
Extensive waveform creation and editing by front controls or Windows based software
Integral RS-232, USB and GPIB (IEEE-488) interfaces for full remote control and waveform download
Generators can be locked together where more channels are required
Sine and square waves up to 16Mz
12 bit vertical resolution
Waveform linking, looping, and sequencing
Inter-channel triggering, summing, and phase control
DDS mode standard functions and sweep modes
Full waveform building tools including standard waveforms, mathematical expressions, and freehand drawing
Tone switching facilitates precision DTMF generation
