Tektronix Arbitrary/Function Generators Series AFG1000

The Tektronix AFG1022 ( 855-5078 ) and AFG1062 ( 898-6858 ) entry-level arbitrary/function generators are designed to appeal to educational institutions wanting to fit out their laboratories with modern, flexible test instrumentation capable of high performance at an attractive price. Applications include electrical and electronics experiments, communications experiments, sensor simulation and functional test. Key performance specifications include dual-channel, 25MHz or 60MHz bandwidth with 1mVpp to 10Vpp output, 14-bit vertical resolution and 1μHz frequency resolution. The models offer 50 built-in standard function and arbitrary waveforms with continuous, modulation, sweep and burst modes to cover almost all test requirements in basic education laboratories. They provide a 125MS/s (AFG1022) or 300Ms/s (AFG1062) sample rate along with 64MB of built-in non-volatile memory and USB memory expansion for user-defined waveforms. A built-in 200MHz counter with 6-digit resolution offers an easy and precise way of performing frequency, period, pulse width and duty cycle measurements. The models incorporate an intuitive user interface with a 3.95 inch TFT colour display, shortcut buttons and rotary knob for quick setting adjustments. The compact form saves valuable bench space.
