Cynergy3 offers wide range of horizontal switches which are WRAS approved and have low-cost compact design. These horizontal float switches consist of a reed switch and a pivoted actuator magnet and can be used for N/O or N/C operation. The switch action can be reversed by mounting the float switch with the float able to move upwards away from the body instead of downwards.

WRAS is the standard against waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must have an appropriate quality and standard.

These Cynergy3 Horizontal Switches are most likely to be used in vending machines, commercial washing machines and evaporator units.

Suitable for signal switching and for use with transistorised input/low power, suppressed coil miniature relays. Not suited for any inductive or inrush (e.g. filament lamps) loads.

This float switch from Sensata Cynergy3 is a versatile option that can be fitted through a tank wall from the outside. This makes it an ideal solution for situations where you don't have access to the inside of your tank. For flexibility when setting up your tank, the switch has an NO/NC (normally open/normally closed) output, meaning you can set it up to turn the circuit either on or off when activated. Use this device to prevent under or overfilling in vending machines, dishwashers and vehicle auxiliary tanks.

This switch is designed for horizontal mounting from the outside of a tank. You can reverse the movement of the switch by rotating it through 180°, allowing you to choose whether the switch activates when the water in the tank falls above or below a preset level.
