RS PRO Polyester Side Drum Heating Jacket, 400 x 1020mm, 25l

This polyurethane nylon heating element from the RS PRO range lets you reduce the viscosity of liquids to make it easier to pump or pour. It can fit drums sized between 25 litres and 200 litres and has a power rating of 250 W.

The heating element comes in a 1250 mm x 460 mm jacket design that's adjustable thanks to quick-release buckles. It has Teflon and polyester insulation that prevents heat from escaping and provides even heat distribution. A capillary thermostat regulates temperatures up to a maximum operating temperature of 90°C, and an IP40 rating means there's no need to worry about damage from small tools and wires.

This heating element is commonly found in the food production and manufacturing industries. You can use it to warm foodstuffs, soaps, varnishes, chemicals and other substances.
