3M™ Speciality Disposable Respirator 9922 provides lightweight, effective, comfortable and hygienic respiratory FFP2 protection against dust, mist and nuisance level ozone.

The 3M 9922 is a speciality particulate respirator that’s reliable and has effective FFP2 breathing protection against dusts and mists. It features an activated carbon layer that helps guard against nuisance level ozone gases.

The 3M 9922 lightweight, cup shaped design is sturdy and collapse resistant, and the soft inner face seal, convex shape, nose clip and twin strapping helps provide a comfortable fit across a broad range of face shapes. The 3M™ Cool Flow™ Valve helps reduce heat build-up so you can stay comfortable, even in hot and humid conditions, and the braided, colour coded headbands help you identify the protection level offered: blue for FFP2 (NPF 12).

Disposable respirator masks are used when there may be harmful particulates in the atmosphere such as dust. This protects against low levels of dust, as well as solid and liquid aerosols. They filter at least 80% of the particles, with a maximum leakage amount of 25%. Used within the construction or food processing industry.

FFP2
This protects against moderate levels of dust, as well as solid and liquid aerosols. They provide higher protection than the FFP1. They filter at least 94% of the particles, with a maximum leakage amount of 11%. Used within the metal, medical and mining also the construction industry for plastering and sanding tasks.

FFP3
This protects against high levels of dust, as well as solid and liquid aerosols. They provide higher protection than the FFP1. They filter at least 99% of the particles, with a maximum leakage amount of 5%. Used within the medical and chemistry industry.

EN149:2001 FFP2

The filter is made of polypropylene, which is resistant to chemicals and corrosion, making it suitable for use in industrial environments.
