RS PRO PET D Sub Backshell, 9 Way, Strain Relief

This RS PRO D-Sub connector backshell is a practical way to reduce strain on your cables. It can change the orientation of your signal and will keep it free from interference.

The backshell has a steel internal cable clamp for side or top cable entry. Along with its removable knockouts and cable retention, this keeps your cables strain-free. It comes complete with two standard jackscrews and two finger-operated jackscrews, allowing you to tighten and stabilise your connection. To conduct your signal, the backshell has 9 E D-Sub shell-size contacts suited to metal shell D-connectors. This is reliably shielded from EMI (electromagnetic interference) thanks to its black UL94V-0 rated PET (polyethylene terephthalate) housing.

As part of our first-rate RS PRO range, this backshell has been extensively tested for quality. It's often used by electricians to form connections on modular boards.
