The Ruland Clamp single disc coupling with keyways is a high-precision mechanical coupling designed for zero-backlash torque transmission, ensuring accuracy and reliability in motion control applications. The coupling consists of two anodized aluminum hubs with integrated keyways for secure shaft attachment, along with thin stainless steel disc springs that allow for angular misalignment and axial movement while maintaining structural rigidity. However, it does not support parallel misalignment, requiring precise shaft alignment for optimal operation.
