Pressing on the green actuator causes the contacts to close and set connected machinery in motion. Simply push the red button to turn it off again. Universally recognised 'on' and 'off' symbols are clearly printed in white to make sure no one gets their wires crossed. Impulse voltages are no trouble for this unit, which withstands surges up to 6kV. Its low weight of 233g puts minimal strain on the mounting surface.
