The Silicon Labs wireless radio board plugs into the mainboard provided with the wireless gecko starter kit (purchased separately). It provides an ideal development environment to evaluate the EFP0104 wired buck power management IC PMIC and the EFR32 x G21 wireless SoC. The EFP0104 supports a wide range of batteries from 1.8 to 5.5 volts, providing flexibility for different battery technologies while improving the efficiency of the EFR32 x G21 power consumption. With the supporting simplicity studio suite of tools, developers can take advantage of graphical wireless application development, mesh networking debug and packet trace and visual energy profiling and optimization. This radio board cannot be used stand-alone and requires a wireless mainboard which can be purchased separately.
