Schneider Electric TeSys Thermal Overload Relay, 110V DC/AC - LAD703F

Use this thermal overload relay from Schneider Electric's TeSys range to protect motors from electrical surges and overcurrent. With a control circuit voltage capacity of 110V AC (alternating current) and 110V DC (direct current), this remote electrical stop, also known as a remote tripping device, is able to handle electrical controls in a range of applications. It mounts easily to TeSys D contactors to create highly reliable starters. The tough outer casing ensures long-lasting performance in tough industrial settings.

Features & Benefits

• Rated frequency of 50/60Hz (Hertz) for versatility and efficiency

• Maximum inrush power of 100VA (volt-amperes) for versatile use

• Compact design saves space and won't add strain to your setup

Applications

• Industrial automation

• Food and beverage industries

• Pharmaceutical manufacturing

How does a thermal overload relay work?

This thermal overload relay measures current electronically. If the current reaches a certain level, then the relay will cut the circuit to protect the motor from the effects of overcurrent. In addition to preventing damage to your motor, this can also avoid sparking that can cause a fire.
