The Ferrite sleeve is intended to be used to suppress high frequency noise in a cable. The cable to be screened is passed through the bore of the sleeve, which absorbs energy emitted from the cable.

Max cable diameter 5.2mm
Data transmitted through the cable will not be adversely affected by the sleeve
For EMI suppression
Typical impedance is 75 Ohms at 25MHz and 140 Ohms at 100MHz
