RS PRO Level 4 Micro Strip Temperature Sensitive Labels
Brought to you by the trusted RS PRO brand, these temperature-sensitive labels are micro-sized for easy application in electronics. The self-adhesive labels change colour when exposed to different temperatures, and so are a reliable way to easily indicate the exposed temperature of the product they are attached to.
These temperature levels indicate the exposed temperature at four different levels, and so will permanently record the highest bracketed temperature that the label, and so the product it was attached to, was exposed to. They can adhere securely to many types of surface, and so they are suitable for a variety of applications where temperature control is a concern.
The followng temperature sensitive labels are available
286-080 are 4 level temperature-sensitive label with a 40°C to 46°C temperature range;286-096 are 4 level temperature-sensitive label with a 49°C to 65°C temperature range;286-103 are 4 level temperature-sensitive label with a 71°C to 88°C temperature range;286-119 are 4 level temperature-sensitive label with a 93°C to 110°C temperature range;286-125 are 4 level temperature-sensitive label with a 116°C to 132°C temperature range;286-131 are 4 level temperature-sensitive label with a 138°C to 145°C temperature range

What is the difference between reversible and non-reversible temperature labels?
Non-reversible colour-changing labels leave a permanent indication fo the maximum or minimum temperature bracket the label has been exposed to. This means they are better for temperature gauging over longer periods of time. Reversible colour-changing labels leave a non-permanent indication, so are better for monitoring variables over shorter time limits.
Applications
Temperature indicating labels work by leaving a visible record of the temperature they have reached, and so can indicate the maximum or minimum temperature of the surface they are attached too. As such, they are ideal for indicating when something has overheated or is operating at a less than optimum temperature.
