Li-Ion RCR123A
The ANSMANN protected 16340 rechargeable battery is a reliable, safe quality battery. Like all lithium ion cells, this battery boasts a high energy density compared to other rechargeable batteries such as NiMH, allowing for more compact power solutions.
The battery features a built-in safety board to shield against overload, short circuit and deep discharging. This inclusion means the battery is larger than an unprotected 16340 cell, measuring around 17x17x35mm.
This battery has the same size profile as a CR123A battery and is sometimes called RCR123A because it can be used in many of the applications a non-rechargeable CR123A could be used. This can offer savings long-term due to not needing to replace the discharged batteries and instead recharge them up to 2000 times.
This version comes fitted with a Micro-USB charging port built in for fast and easy charging using USB charging solutions including PC USB ports, smartphone chargers and Powerbanks.
