Samtec ERM5 0.5 mm High-Speed SMT Board-to-Board Header Connectors
ERM5 0.5 mm high-speed board-to-board headers with a performance of 28 Gbit/s. These ERM5 0.5 mm SMT high-speed BTB header connectors feature ruggedized Edge Rate contacts with a high contact wipe designed for high speed, high cycle applications. These Edge Rate contacts have a smooth milled surface to reduce contact wear which increases durability and life cycle. This milled surface also lowers insertion and withdrawal forces allowing the connectors to be zippered when unmating. The Edge Rate contacts also reduce broadside coupling and crosstalk and offer high signal integrity and electrical performance.
These ERM5 0.5 mm high-speed header connectors can be combined with the ERF5 series 0.5 mm high-speed SMT board-to-board sockets to create mating heights from 7 mm to 12 mm.
